Who is KASIA?
Chicago-based KASIA is a multilingual vocalist and songwriter shaped by a life lived across languages and continents.
Drawing from traditional jazz, Mexican boleros, Japanese city pop and jazz manouche, she approaches pop songwriting with an ear that is distinctly international.
Having lived in Poland, Indonesia and Ecuador at different stages of her life, KASIA brings those experiences into her songwriting. Singing in four languages and counting, she treats language not as a novelty but as an intentional storytelling tool.
Though varied in global influence, KASIA’s songwriting remains intimate, gravitating toward open-hearted love songs and stories of feminine resilience, familial tensions and split second moments that leave a lasting memory.
A Chicago DCASE grant recipient and international touring artist, KASIA enters a new chapter in Fall 2026 with Kocham CiÄ™!, her first jazz EP dedicated to the genre that shaped her earliest musical influences.
A global footprint.
My aspirations are to share my voice and my songs with as many people as possible around the world. I’ve begun to expand my presence in markets outside the US, so far debuting in Indonesia, Ecuador and various European countries.
